Opening remarks at the Kyoto University Clock Tower on the morning of Feb17th

Number of participants (Total: 206)

126 university students (41 domestic, 83 overseas)

79 people from companies (16 domestic, 63 from overseas)

Many of the participants from both universities and companies were from overseas, accounting for approximately 70% of the total. We were able to reaffirm the high level of interest in this field overseas, but at the same time, we believe that revitalizing domestic trends is a future challenge that the Social Innovation Center must address. For this reason, we believe it is necessary to continue holding the second international conference, BCK22, next year. We would appreciate your cooperation.

We would like to thank all the speakers at BCK21.
